Walker Valley Work Party April 2008


Walker Valley work party went good, but more work is needed.  Ed T, Ann T, Rudi, Russ and Ron L. joined with some members of Rainier Ridge Rams and the Forest service to upgrade the skills section near the back gate. While Ed showed his skills with a Kubota loading gravel into miniature dump trucks and later digging fence post holes, Rudi and family transported large rocks about a mile in his small trailer. Ann T, Ron L and a few Rainier Ridge Rams pulled some logs from a burn pile and drag them up a muddy trail. We skinned the bark, placed 3 of 4 posts and attached most of the rails of the fence to protect the wetland area.
